My own camp

For the last few weeks room 16 has been creating our own
camp maps. This one is mine Camp Adventurer.

Camp Directions
1.start north D2 walk to D3 till you found a key.

2. go right E6 and walk along the ladder hop off at the end east and north.

3.Then you go E9 east.

4.Then go down E8 you have found another key then you found all the keys and Mr M.

Wow done you did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my camp rules.

1. When you are swimming have a teacher or an adult watching  you at all times.
2. No running  down the hallway at night time some people may be asleep.
3. Always  wear shoes when outside because we don't need dirty shoes.
4. Put sunscreen  and a hat when you are outside.
5. After you have eaten  wash your heads and wash your dishes.
6. When you are in  the forest keep close to an adult.
7. When you are at  the beach swimming an adult should be swimming  with you.  
8. If you  like to go on the boat  be safe and life jacket  and have fun.  

     9.  Be safe and have fun.

Walkathon

Reflection for The walkathon    (my groups name is  Titans)

· Something I was pleased with

that we were all working as a team because everyone was talking and helping each other.

                         

· I really enjoyed learning how to do a walkathon, because I didn't know what it was but now I do.

· Something I found hard was at the end I was getting tired and sleepy because I was tired of walking but then I went faster.                   

· Something that made me think was about all the street name because some street I have never heard of.

                 

Something I want to get better at is getting into it because I was a bit shy at the start.

This is my scooter poem I hope you like it.;)

The scooter By Emma Morrison

I have always been the lucky  

one, this year I got a new

scooter Its purple
and green.

I rode it every weekend

until  my mum starting
to shout  at me .

It had a  skull on
the front of it.

Scootering up and down

the road I pushed so
heard  my head feld

like I was going up

side down.

Going down my head

always started to spin

in a circle .

One night I creeped out
side got the keys and
I un lock  the door then

I will stop and stare at

my scooter.

It was getting late

and dark I new

tomorrow  was Monday
I said goodbye to my

scooter so  then I went to
sleep.

I just loved that scooter;)

   

Area and Perimeter

This is some maths we did yesterday. We did it
with our learning buddy this is what Liam and I did.
The area is ( 3x3= 9) cm squared and the perimeter is (3+3+3+3=12 cm) and the volume=(3x3x4x9=36cm cubed), length 3 cm and the height is 4 cm also the with is 3 cm. I hope you enjoy it.

The Eerie Singing Sirens

This is what me and  my reading group did a video and a reflection  I hope you like it. 

Something I was pleased with is we all worked together as a team.

I really enjoyed the acting and the singing from Olivia,Jessica and me.

Something I found hard was doing the singing I can't  sing but I tried.

Something I want to get better is to be a good actor.
Something that made me think was  the words in the book like Timoneus and Odysseus.

 Something we need to work on is talking in a group about what we are doing.

The car that came to life

One spooky night we were driving home something went wrong I didn't know what.” Bang” the car spoke “hi there” we  were all shocked in the car there was Me,Mum and my sister Claire. We just pulled up our driveway  “where are you going you can't leave me then I will call you an egghead” the car said. we went in our house Claire said this “we have to do something about the car” “ that is so right it is Evil”I said .
And mum sank up to the car when it was fast asleep and got init and starting to drive but we drove it to the junkyard also we called it egghead .

Swimming in the school pool!!!!!
I am waiting to dive now it is my turn I am very nervous. I put my hands together I dive like a dolphin. Splash. My Mum says “ were you nervous? yes I say”. I decided to do  freestyle. Off I went. I was going as fast as I can. I look to the side of me my friend had already finished. I hopped out of the pool. I get a stick you came forth said Mr Ford. My mum was proud of me.

The first person who won went home so I got into the final. So I dive into the pool. I  hear people kicking and people cheering for their houses  and my Mum cheering for me. I taste the yakey of the of water  I can see my friend again. I came sixth I walk to my Mum she put a towel around me.

We need  one more person. They picked me. I jumped into the pool. Splash. I  was holding the noodle “ put the noodle under your legs” shouted Mr Ford and “ imagine it was a horse”. I started  to run with the noodle. I hopped out of the pool and tagged the next person I sat at the end of the line  I jump back in again.

Dear Anna

My name is Emma Morrison my age is 10 I am going to be turning 11 on April the 25 I am in year 6 I have blond hair and green eyes.  My dream job is running a dog daycare I will tell you what its all about when the dogs owner goes on holiday and can't take the dog there will have to take it to dog daycare to look after  and when there came back will gave the dog back.  We sell dog fashion like handbags so your dog can go everywhere you go and matching outfits and in the shop a puppy  playground so Thats my dream job.

This year I am going to play netball I love to dance do you? I do tap and jazz. Do you do you play any sport ?also I  like swimming and do you like dogs or animals I do I like horses riding with my friend Jessica sometimes. I have a little sister Claire my Mum Jane do you have any brothers or sisters. I use to have a dog named Maggie she couldn't stop braking so the animal patrol tried to take my dog away from my family so we gave her away to another home with an old lady  it was very sad for  for me it was hard to give her up  I am  very happy now for Maggie we are not allowed to have a pet dog maybe another pet maybe one day.


Do you like your teacher? my teacher rocks. We had to write a young leader or  a sports pal letter to the teachers at my school for the year 6 a young leader is to  be repositioned  to our school a sports pal is playing games with the little kids at lunch time. What I got for Christmas an Ipad 4, a scooter  Mgp its purple and green,a book about a mystery and a monster high doll what did you get for Christmas?and what tv shows do you watch? I don't watch  tv not very often mine favorite show is the Simpsons . My favorite movie is twilight do you like twilight. Do you like to listen to music I do music rocks. My favorite singer is Katy Perry what's yours. Do you have 121 classrooms at your school wow if you do thats a lot.Down there is a link to my blog.
